Software Development Trainer (Full Stack)

Role Overview As a Software Development Engineer (SDE 2/3) + Instructor in Full Stack Development at Newton School of Technology, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of developers. Your responsibilities will include teaching, mentoring, and guiding students in building real-world applications while ensuring alignment with industry standards. You will work closely with a distinguished faculty and industry partners to deliver engaging sessions and hands-on labs to enhance students' practical skills. Key Responsibilities Teach and support modules on Full stack development, covering OOPs, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Engineering concepts. Conduct coding labs in JavaScript, SQL, Node.Js, Python, and other programming languages to help students build practical skills. Assist students in projects, debugging, coding best practices, and application design. Collaborate with senior faculty, industry partners, and curriculum teams to ensure content remains aligned with industry standards. Provide feedback, evaluate assignments, and support students in becoming job-ready engineers. Encourage students to apply up-to-date frameworks and tools in solving real-world problems. Qualifications and Requirements 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer/Engineer in application programming. Strong command of at least one programming language (JavaScript, Java, Python, C/C++). Solid understanding of OOPs, data structures, low-level design, algorithms, and software design principles. Familiarity with application frameworks, APIs, and deployment basics. Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, engaging manner to students. Flexibility to teach foundational computer science subjects when needed. Good to Have Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience (formal or informal). Knowledge of High-level Design, Git, testing frameworks, and application lifecycle management. Passion for education, mentorship, and student growth.
