Electric Wiring Harness (EWH) Engineer - Data Librarian

Job Description As an Electrical Wire Harness (EWH) Engineer at Cableteque, your role will involve creating, building, and maintaining a highly detailed electrical/interconnect parts database. You will be part of a high-performance team dedicated to developing engineering software tools. ** Key Responsibilities ** Identify designated parts and research specification details from various sources such as parts catalogs, standard specifications, and databases. Document EWH Detail/Assembly data into the company's electrical parts CAD database portal using manual, automatic, and semi-automatic tools. Collaborate with the development team to design, test, and implement methods and tools for scaling up data entry and integrity. Independently work and eventually lead a team, providing direction and technical mentoring. ** Qualifications ** Extensive understanding of electrical wiring harness designs. Proficiency in using and selecting electrical industry components' data sheets. Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and manage priorities. Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel is a must. Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and Mil-Aerospace standards is a plus. Familiarity with ECAD/CAD for wire harnesses is advantageous. In addition to technical skills, soft skills such as excellent communication (verbal and written), ability to lead technical teams, self-motivation, and ethical conduct are essential for this role.
